The Mechanical Hearts plus Scaredycats

Newhampton Arts Centre, Dunkley Street, Wolverhampton

The Mechanical Hearts return to one of Wolverhampton’s premier venues, the Newhampton Arts Centre, this time supported by Liverpool’s own Scardeycats in part two of a well-matched gig-swap. Two original bands not to be missed.

The Mechanical Hearts have a history of making great original music. For over 30 years, the band has crafted strong melodies, chords and lyrics, writing from the heart of life’s experience. The 1990 single ‘Precious Time’ is now a much sought-after recording on vinyl. Now newly reformed, the band’s material is stronger than ever before.

Wirral-based band Scaredycats were formed at the start of 2015. They deliver an eclectic mix of songs with influences as broad as The Kinks, Talking Heads and Frank Zappa, and are fast gaining a reputation for originality of their live performances and songwriting.
